Tenuta Luce

In the early 90s, Vittorio Frescobaldi and Robert Mondavi joined forces in Montalcino, a land known for its viticulture, wishing to make wines that would go beyond the borders of tradition, but without denying it. They were supported by their sons, Lamberto and Tim, both young oenologists. The wine that started it all, Luce is a harmonious meeting point between the elegance and structure of Sangiovese – the local native varietal – and the roundness of Merlot. Luce’s first harvests were presented together, immediately stimulating curiosity and interest. The project has continued to develop since, acquiring new vineyards and challenges and creating Lucente, the second wine of Tenuta Luce.
