Clos de l’Oratoire des Papes
This story begins in 1880, when Edouard Amouroux became the owner of the Clos de l’Oratoire des Papes Oratoriens, a fine vineyard of Syrah vines at Tresquoy, named after the 18th century oratory next to it. Once current owner Ogier took over in 2000, company oenologist Didier Couturier deployed all of his expertise and knowledge of the terroir to help this unique vineyard bloom. Ogier’s soul is in every cuvée of the Clos de l’Oratoire des Papes. Tasting a bottle of Clos de l’Oratoire des Papes is a unique experience. Whether white or red, every cuvée reflects the values and essence of Ogier and his constant quest to create the finest espression of the Clos de l’Oratoire des Papes.
