Chablis is an exceptional region for Chardonnay, possessing the characteristics needed in order to help this variety to express its terroir: a cool climate, with warm and dry weather at the end of summer to ripen the fruit to its core, and limestone soils that best suit the vines. Thanks to an exceptional heritage, Domaine Laroche owns a mature vineyard with a significant proportion of over 40-year-old vines capable of producing great grapes and great wines. Domaine Laroche takes a holistic approach to sustainability and environmentally-friendly viticulture. This extends to the winery, with minimal treatments, reduced power consumption and water sourced from rainfall.
