VIA Wines came into existence in 1998 on the initiative of a group of visionaries. After years of researching and exploring various terroirs, they finally settled on the San Rafael zone in the Maule Valley. Latin for “the way,” the name of the brand was chosen to express a vision anchored in tradition, but open to the future. VIA Wines strives to craft innovative wines of the highest quality, reflective of the terroir of their distinctive vineyards, while making best use of modern advances in viniculture and winemaking. Their work is done in accordance with sustainable standards validated by the guidelines of Wines of Chile, applied in over 2,000 hectares of vineyards in the some of country’s most outstanding wine regions.
