Vipava 1894

Rich in tradition and founded in 1894, the cooperative winery Vipavalies in the picturesque Vipava Valley in the west of Slovenia, where the Mediterranean south meets continental Europe. Here, attention is focused on vinifying the best possible wines that the region can yield: those with both an authentic character and a precise expression of their terroir. Proprietor Hannes Sabathi works with some 350 grape growers across the region, and views these producers as his most important partners.
